Mr. DeFurio has more than 20 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, sales, exchanges, financing and leasing. Before joining BH Properties, LLC, Mr. DeFurio was General Counsel of Shuwa Investment Corporation, a real estate investment company. Prior to joining Shuwa, Mr. DeFurio was a partner in the firm Smart, DeFurio, McClure, Thevenet & Sandler, P.C. with an emphasis on commercial, business, real estate and tax law. Mr. DeFurio is a graduate of Regis University, Denver, Colorado, received his Juris Doctorate from University of Denver, Sturm College of Law and earned a Master of Law (Taxation) degree from New York University.
